~GIVE- ABM LENT APPEAL 2019~
There are three projects in the Anglican Board of Mission Lent Appeal: Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders Mission Fund, Gender and Governance Initiative in Zambia (Supporting the rights of women and children through education) & St John's Anglican Seminary in Zambia. Envelopes are available for these appeals in the church bulletin as the weeks go by in Lent, or contribute an online donation via the ABM website.

Preserving in Faith: Growing and staying closer to God- A time for Worship, Listening, and Quiet
In this quiet morning there will be oppotunities to explore tools of Benedictine Spirituality that can help sustain journey. Even though over 1500 years old, St Benedict's Rule, steeped in a biblical and practical way of living out faith in community and in ways we can still relate to in the world today. Fit for not only monastic house, but for anyone in everyday life.
Seeking the presence of God to enlighten and sustain our souls and bodies can be done by simple means. We will be reflecting on Listening, Prayer, Holy Reading amongst a number of other tools that come to light in St Benedict's Writing and though his many advocates. With faith nurtured all can grow and draw a little closer to God.
Please let Fr. Ian know if you would like to come along. Morning Tea will be provided, however BYO Lunch would be appreciated.

d. Borrow a book from our new P.L.L. (Parish Lending Library). There are a number of books available for you to read. Just fill in the loan sheet and don't forget to sign the book back after reading it. The books will be available near the Meeting Room on Sundays.
