Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
It’s nice to be back after some days of rest. Thank you to Fr Greg and Mthr Mel for filling the gap. Welcome to worship, either in person, virtually or remotely. To continue to be a prayerful and worshipful community during the continued Pandemic is vital for our own and community well-being. I love the last few verses of today’s Gospel about Jesus calling us to take on his yoke. In other words even as Christians of course we experience the burdens as well as the joys of our human existence. However, being part of Jesus yoke means to find a place of rest in him where we will find humility, gentleness and learn his ways. He can help us to find to spiritual and physical resolve we need to do the work we have been called to do. May you journey well with Christ this week. Fr Ian
