Dear sister and brothers in Christ, it is good to be back!
As we continue to move through this Season after Epiphany, we can be awestruck by the way Jesus manifests God’s light and power through his very being. Today’s Gospel highlights the authority of his teaching and the way his presence can instil hope, wholeness and healing amongst those with whom he walks. We too are challenged to bring Christ’s light and life alive amongst the people with whom we share our lives. Not just our close-knit circle of friends, but also the people outside our immediate environment and out in the community. We are commanded to love all people and the challenge for this we find so often immediately as we mingle around the community we live and as we respond to the brokenness and needs of the world around us. May you journey well with Christ this week. Fr Ian
