Church Open For Private Prayer
Times will be updated soon.
Giving
1. You can directly deposit your offering into the church’s bank account. Currently some people do this either fortnightly or monthly generally. For those who would like to access this method the details are as follows:
Kyneton Anglican Parish Council
BSB 083-713
A/C 51586 7674
2. Giving is always more than about money. We can all pray. Use the prayers that will come out in the pewsheet and in other email notifications that I may send out or deliver to you, or you may find on the website. Call each other for conversations that can provide encouragement and connection.
These are simple that cost very little. As a friend of mine used to say “Don’t give me a ring, a telephone call is cheaper!”
Keeping Healthy and Hygienic
We encourage everyone to keep hygienic when entering and exiting the church. We have provided hand sanitiser on entry and exit and aske that people who do not feel well to stay home. The posters below are what we have posted in both bathrooms in the church. An infographic is also at entry to the church and we encourage that people read that also.

Wearing of Face Masks
The wearing of face masks or other face coverings is mandatory in Victoria. Let me encourage you if you haven’t already to take up the practice. When you go shopping, go to the doctor’s, gather in other public places and at church we are told endlessly now that wearing face masks can help slow or even stop the spread of the virus when combined with handwashing/sanitizing and social distancing. Of course if you have a condition that makes it difficult for you to wear one, that is understood. Some simple tips for mask wearing are:
1. Wash or sanitize your hands before putting it on and after taking it off.
2. If using a reusable fabric mask, make sure you wash it in warm to hot soapy water at least once a day.
3. Do not use a damaged, dirty or wet mask.
4. Store your mask in a clean, resealable bag if it is not dirty and you plan to reuse it again that day.
5. Cover your nose, mouth and chin. Avoid touching the mask whilst wearing it.
6. Do not use a mask that is difficult to breathe through!
7. If using once use only surgical style masks follow that guideline and don’t reuse it! You don’t want to potentially contaminate yourself.

A Prayer for the Current
Challenging Times
Gracious God, we give thanks anew for your providence and presence.
We prayerfully seek your grace, amidst COVID-19 here and overseas.
We pray for those in need of healing.
We pray for your peace with those who are anxious and grieving.
We pray you will continue to strengthen and sustain
all those who are serving in response.
We pray for your Holy Spirit’s discernment amidst the many
choices and decisions facing our national, community and medical leaders.
We pray we each might see quickly
what more we can do to help those who are vulnerable.
This prayer for our nation in the family of nations,
with all that is in our hearts,
we gather now and pray through Jesus Christ our Lord.
AMEN
